Why These Partnerships Matter For Your Engagement
Hi-Tek partners with the vendors whose technology our clients actually run on. Each partnership is held at a level that gives our team direct access to engineering and roadmap conversations, which means our clients benefit from features and pricing that are not available to MSPs at lower partnership tiers.
Microsoft is the foundation. As a Microsoft Solutions Partner, we have direct access to Microsoft’s engineering and product teams across the modern workplace, security, and Azure. The partnership covers Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Our AI Security and Governance practice depends on this access.
Cisco Select Partner status gives us the engineering-level relationship for client environments running Cisco network and security infrastructure. This matters for clients with multi-site environments, complex network topology, or security requirements that go beyond commodity hardware.
Lenovo Gold Partner status covers our hardware procurement practice. Lenovo desktops, laptops, ThinkCentre workstations, and ThinkSystem servers are standard issue for our clients. Gold-level pricing flows through to clients without markup, and the partnership gives us advance access to product roadmap.
Dell, Sophos, and Datto round out the procurement and security stacks where they fit better than Microsoft-native equivalents. We do not double up on overlapping tools. Each partnership is intentional, and we tell clients honestly which tool from our partner roster fits their situation, including when the answer is to standardize on Microsoft.
What partner status means for your engagement: better pricing, faster escalation when something breaks, earlier access to features that matter, and a vendor relationship Hi-Tek manages on the client’s behalf so client leadership does not have to.
How Partner Status Translates To Client Outcomes
Partner status is an operational asset, not a marketing claim. When a Microsoft Azure environment has a quota or billing issue, our Microsoft Solutions Partner status gets us into engineering escalation, not a customer support queue. When a Cisco firewall is misbehaving on a client’s perimeter, our Cisco Select Partner status accelerates the TAC engagement. When Lenovo hardware is on order and a build slot opens, our Gold partnership flags the opportunity.
Pricing flow-through is the visible benefit. Our partner-tier pricing on Microsoft 365, Azure, Lenovo hardware, and the rest of the stack flows to clients through our procurement contracts. Clients do not pay markup on hardware and do not pay a license premium on Microsoft.
Advance access matters more than the pricing. We see roadmap features and product changes before they hit general availability. Our AI Security and Governance practice is built around capabilities Microsoft released to partners ahead of public launch: Purview sensitivity labels, Copilot governance APIs, Entra ID risk controls. We are ready when our clients ask, not learning alongside them.
When something goes wrong, partner status determines how fast it gets fixed. That is the operational difference clients notice on the day they need it.
